LOOKING AHEAD

Martin, a surveyor, works in the city. He is also a parliamentary aspirant.Getting this photo to us, he says he is quite focused. Not to be left behind. He hopes to bring little London right to his countryside.Staying in hotels whenever he travels to his rural home is now a thing of the past.

FROM THE NORTH WITH AMBITION

I lived in Canada at some point. While working at Loblaws in South Keys,Ottawa,I made time to visit the countryside often. It impressed me more than the city. A friend at Weagant Farm in Winchester sold me an old Massey Ferguson. I shipped it to Mombasa en route to my village. I had no idea how this would end ! But I trusted in God, that one time out of the cold, snowy north winters,I would be a farmer back home.Mini or mega.So here I'am. The journey just begun.

GURNSEY FARM

These Gurnseys were not spotted on a farm in UK. No. It's the Gurnsey Farm in the little village of Mukumu in Kakamega.Just what potential the countryside holds !

INSPIRED BY A FRIEND

When Brown was invited to a friend's housewarming party at his upcountry home in 2005, seeing the development, he knew what he wanted. A beautiful house at his Khwisero home. And indeed 3 years later his dream came true. This is what his rural home looks like.
